Webcam Video Capture

When screenshots are not enough for clear instructions on how to use a program or perform certain tasks, a video recording is the only solution. If you don't have time to configure complex programs and go through endless settings menus, Webcam Video Capture might be a better option. It can record the screen, part of it, windows or webcams. Its controls are easy to use, while they still provide enough flexibility to create high quality videos.

Installing this application on your computer is a straightforward procedure. Downloading the installation file and going through the setup process will not take longer than a minute. Webcam Video Capture works on all modern Windows editions and it does not require the latest hardware in order to run normally.

The program's small interface provides a few hyperlinks for accessing different settings panels, as well as a toolbar, with options for recording the screen, playing your recording and more. The various settings panels contain everything you need to specify an encoding method, frame rate, audio devices, hot keys, what area of the screen to record and more. You can choose to capture the whole screen, a selected window or define a certain area of the screen, by drawing a rectangle.

When you are ready, you may select the Record option, placed on the toolbar, and the software will start recording, using your personal settings. Clicking the program's system tray icon or hitting a certain hot key will stop the recording. Depending on your settings, Webcam Video Capture will save your recording in WMV, AVI or uncompressed (Raw) format. The output folder is opened automatically, but you may click a Play button, on the same toolbar, to play your last recording.
